    Our Step by Step guide to Wellness & Recovery Accessibility to BRIDGES is key. We are a mobile program and have the flexibility to meet where you are most comfortable, whether that is at a local coffee house, in the park, at a library, by zoom, or at our office. STEP 1 Discovery Call Duration: 45-60 minutes During your FREE discovery call you'll meet with a BRIDGES team member to discuss if BRIDGES is the right fit for you! This will be the first step on your personalized journey to wellness and recovery. Schedule a Discovery Call Motivational Interviewing Through individual meetings that include assessment and screenings, together we will identify your needs. Services include screening and assessment, early intervention, short-term individual and/or family counseling, life coaching, development of recovery plans, support and recovery groups, medical screenings, medication evaluations, and linkage to community support through our partners.   • Mental Health Services | Bridges Program

    Mental Health Services ​ Whether you are misusing substances and/or alcohol as a means of coping with stress, or looking for recovery support, your BRIDGES team is here to support you. Contact Screening and Assessment Screening and assessment are used to identify a client's strengths and needs. BRIDGES screening and assessment occur at your initial meeting, and both processes should continue throughout the course of counseling. We use evidence-based screenings to determine your mental health needs. When indicated, we also provide medical screenings and medication evaluations. Short-term Individual and Family Counseling Short-term counseling is defined as a relatively brief treatment intended to last between 6-10 sessions. Short-term counseling tends to focus on setting and achieving attainable goals within its limited time frame. At BRIDGES you will work on building trust, improving communication, establishing healthy boundaries, and practicing self-care to foster healthy family and/or individual dynamics that strengthen your mental health and/or recovery. Life Coaching A life coach is someone who counsels, supports and empowers individuals to attain greater fulfillment. A life coach helps guide clients to reach their ultimate goals and support individuals in different areas of their life. BASICS and CASICS BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) is an evidence-based prevention intervention for college students (ages 18-24) who drink alcohol heavily and/or have experienced or are at risk for alcohol-related problems such as poor class attendance, missed assignments, accidents or violence. CASICS (Cannabis Screening and Intervention for College Students) are interventions offered to students who may want or need to explore their cannabis drug use. The goal of these programs is to reduce risky behaviors and harmful consequences of alcohol or cannabis misuse in a judgement-free environment. Medical Screening and Medication Evaluation A medical screening will be conducted by a health care professional that specializes in diagnosing and treating mental health needs. Based on your needs we will determine whether or not medication is a good option for treating your mental health and/or recovery.
